From a child I thought that roses had thorns because ‘they didn’t want to be touched’ and I didn’t understand why adults complained when their hands got pricked!

Why not leave them in peace then…? I thought …

Little did I know, that as an adult, I would be a great lover of the earth.

At that age, I thought I was ‘invited by God’ to this planet and wanted to behave right… old thoughts, that make me smile as I write…

And now, what is it I see?

We destroy the land for personal profit, we shamelessly leave trash all over the place and no one volunteers to call the police…

Isn’t it the truth?

What also makes me very angry is when I see wastefulness.

It’s fine for people to live comfortably, most of them, fought hard for that. But to waste what others could use…?

Ok, I know that my neighbor must have had to cut down this tree for this or that reason, especially after Hurricane Ike last year… but look below at the photo  showing what you can do with a simple tree trunk!

Not even so much creativity is needed…

For years and years we have been ‘conquering the land’, and more than ever destroying it. I think it would be a super good idea to reutilize and reuse it.

And why not green furniture?

…especially if you can do it yourself, since those purchased in stores are extremely expensive.

Extremely. Believe me. I’ve looked into it.  

In this way you give the tree, or anything, however small, a ‘second coming’.

Small is also beautiful.

After all, my thing is also not losing money, right?

Although recycling just for the sake of recycling makes us feel so good, every live creature is better than a dead one.

An ecologist is not one who says what’s wrong, and shows that such and such a river is so polluted etc., it is he who goes there, cleans, recycles, reuses and reduces wastefulness.

Perhaps the sun, the moon, the stars, were within reach of predatory human hands, would have disappeared too…

Don’t destroy… good planets are hard to find. REUSE.

The other day a good friend told me, “if I knew that I would live such a looong time… I would have taken better care of my health.”

Frankly I do not want to talk about celebrities… At least not anytime soon, let alone bring bad news… But the book was released this month here in America, and it’s really shocking. The secret that the author has revealed to the world almost scared me to death!

The worst is that it is not just a ‘story’ but a true story.

I’m against polygamy, the sale of babies and incest. I had the idea that had pretty much gone out the window. Silly me…

Another thought that occurred to me a few times in life was about mothers who had sons…

Did they have to hide their feminine side?

Does this somehow fit the Oedipus complex where Greek mythology says that the character killed his father to marry the mother?

Mackenzie Phillips, daughter of John Phillips of Mamma’s and Pappa’s, exposes herself this week in her book “High On Arrival”, of how her father taught her how to inject herself with cocaine from the age of 11, and at 14 woke up from a blackout in bed after having sex with her own father!

She also reveals that Mick Jagger criticized John Phillips for using drugs in front of the children, but when she turned 18 Jagger himself took her to bed.

The former actress admits that the incest lasted several years until she was pregnant and did not know if the baby was the father’s or boyfriend’s. They had sex up until the night before her wedding in 79. By the way, her father paid for the abortion.

During this same time she was doing the show “One Day at a Time”, she had never revealed this to anyone until the day she wrote the book.

Of course she said much more, but for me that was quite enough, even too much.

The important thing is that though she was in hell, she didn’t stay there. And just as abusers change the lives of victims, she is trying to change the lives of others like her and abusers like her father by breaking the long silence of shame.

For me it was shocking. But for Mackenzie the consequences will live on and will continue throughout her life, and be passed on from generation to generation. By breaking down the shameful silence she believes will impart courage to others to do the same.

Aren’t parents supposed to protect their children?

In my simplicity, something inside of me says that directly after God in Heaven is Father on earth.

Did the movie “AWAKE” leave you worried in the case that you might need general anesthesia …?

I confess that I was quite apprehensive and anxious, and I think I’ll have to deal with my mind, before having to deal with anything would be in my body. That was scary! What should you fear more the doctor, the medicine or the disease …?

What’s more, knowing that half of the doctors graduate with low grade point averages makes it worse yet! Maybe it would be a good idea to check into this before turning yourself over to the hands of one. … Hmmm?

I intend to have more and more a kind of ‘agreement’ with nature, because I think it does more than half the work taking care of our health… and to top it off it doesn’t charge anything.

Nature knows what we need. And the doctors…? Hummm…….

Here you are almost marked with financial ruin in consequence of medical bills, and that is almost exclusive to the ‘American disease’, so-to-speak.

Because when you get the doctor bill, you discover the reason that they wear masks! And just think about this, seriously, the “Recovery Room” is right next to the cash register of the clinic or hospital.

Don’t forget: quickly leave the doctor’s office if you see plants dying, or if the doctor’s breath doesn’t smell healthy. This doctor has no right to give you any opinion!

The reason for my ‘apprehension’, is that I discovered that you can lower the chance that you happen to be “awake under anesthesia,” which according to the American Society of Anesthesiologists, is estimated to affect 1 in 14,560 patients.

Just days before your surgery, ask your anesthesiologist about brain wave monitors or levels of consciousness, because that’s how they monitor the patient’s brain activity, alerting nurses and doctors, if there is an additional need for the drug.

These machines are widely used, but also controversial, because not all doctors believe in their effectiveness. Mention also any personal history or that of someone in your family that this has happened to in the past, and its use simultaneously with alcohol, medications and any drug or stimulant.

There is a Kashmiri proverb that says, “until” the doctor kills one or two, he’s not a ‘doctor’. There are people who speak ill of lawyers…. Doctors not only steal from you, they can also kill you!

For me, There’s nothing that can get you closer to God, than to make one healthy.
