I Am Thankful For…

One day as purely American as ”Thanksgiving Day”.

One day arrives only once a year, but that should come more often, especially in our hearts… this should never be only one day a year.

A day that America recognizes the ‘dependence’ on each other, who get together and have good times, eat and drink along with relatives, who live near and those who come from afar.

And I’m thankful for:

…this beautiful Earth,

…to be able to see the beauty of the sky, much more, going to visit friends, as was the case, going to the home of Norm Kruger and wife;

…for this place that calms me and gives me strength,

…for the animals that I take care and have had the privilege of caring for,

for Mr.Slipper Socks Man, always willing to fix what he can and knows how to fix (and even some things he doesn’t),

…for my daughter, who brings the name of ‘being a mother’ to whole new dimension and will dwell in my heart for all eternity.

Did I mention my husband…? Always loving, understanding …

…for my nephew Carlos Augusto, so young and successful as a teacher, businessman and artist of fashion,

…for my other beloved nephew, Charles Edward, Business Administrator, always happy, loving to all, and his girlfriend Tina.

…for my sister, now much older than the picture, but she I will always look like that to me,

…for my friend Lene, always lively, energetic, generous and inspired! …and her dear mother. I passionately love them both,

…for friends like Norm and Sheryl,

…for you Andrea,

…for my sister-in-law Joanne, her embrace, care for all of us and generousity to all those around her,

…for my mother-in-law, her suggestions for natural healing and homeopathic medicine,

…those who are far and near,

…of course for my son-in-law, Jason, who loves and cares so well for my daughter, and for ALL you my friends.

You all love me no matter how many weeks, months or years pass without having seen each other. Know that the one with the sword in hand is the one responsible for my being here writing. She fought hard for it.

…and for all of you who read this blog, for our lives, experiences and everything that you have done good around this world!

I hope you all had a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
