Need Filled

Do not worry, I’m not and I will not ask anybody to donate any organs, although I personally don’t want to take any of mine with me. And I’m even sure that Heaven agrees with me on this: they are much more needed here on earth. But that’s just me, and I’m just a person, but at the same time, or at least I try to make some difference ins someone’s life.

It is hard for me, to suggest that you give something. I’m sure wherever you look, no matter where you are, right now, you can see any need, but at the same time, unless someone like you and me care enough, nothing will be better in this world.

For most people it’s a lot easier to make money than make a difference – not for me.

So if you want to do something to help someone, I recommend that you visit, and just daily click the

which will cost you nothing. The site is www.thehungersite.com.

By doing so every day, 23 pounds of food a year will be donated by the sponsors of the site with your help of that simple click.

And if you have $20 and want to make super good use of it, you can also take a look at another site: www.microplace.com — a company that belongs to the EBAY (Mercado Livre in Brazil) that is also trying to alleviate poverty in the world. They offer investments that allow loans to the extremely poor around the world. The minimum investment is $20 and the return? Above 6%, plus the satisfaction of knowing that you are fulfilling the highest law of love of humanity, known as Homini Deus est Homo (man is the God of man). In keeping with this, you’re making world history a little better.

As the Dalai Lama says, and I agree 100%: “if you want others to be happy, practice compassion, if you want to be happy, practice compassion.”

Perhaps you are like me, you haven’t saved much money in life. But if you at least spared someone some pain, my friend, I’m sure you are a very rich person.

That’s just how I feel.

You’ll Want the World to See This

Confessing the purest truth, I do not like cameras – they show much more of me than even I see!  But with these great little tips below, I believe that you’re going to be proud of and willing to show the whole world your new photos! After reading this…

They say they that rules for good photographers do not exist, but I know they EXIST!

I got some tips from my friend Anne Smith who works at it. I think everyone will benefit from this new world that we have in Facebook, Orkut and many other social sites.

It is easy easy …

Also, even if you do not join them, you always want to look the best possible in any photo, right…?

She said: you’ll probably want your picture make you look beautiful and also stress-free, so since this is almost always the case, hire a personal friend you can trust and put on something that you really enjoy and makes you feel super good.

Once your ready, now you look very funny:

Jump up and down a few times to relax. Sounds funny doesn’t it…? But he says it really works.

Another super important detail is lighting, which should be natural, avoid even the flash.

Ok, you’re already dressed and you’ve already jumped. Now sit and ask the photographer to position the camera above your head, throw your shoulders forward a bit, so stretch your chin out just a little, and look up (this lengthens the face).

Now comes the fun part.

You are experiencing various expressions of face and trying it in various angles. Showing humor … you put a hat, perhaps a wig in a different color than your hair and a few unconventional gestures, because you want your image to be different besides just being beautiful. Am I right?

Now send one to me, not the picture that someone took of you, but the picture that you took!

It’s Good to Know

So as not to miss any opportunity and to relieve stress of Christmas shopping, know that in November is the best month to buy toys (according to Reyne Rice, expert of the Association of Toy Industries). You can buy some for half the price, because the large department stores offer discounts on purpose with the intention of finding out how much the stock they will need for the following month.

If you can’t buy now, April is other big month for this when manufacturers offer good prices looking forward to spring products. Actually, opportunities are never lost. In fact, someone will go there, and jump on what I’ve missed… something else you need to know:

Each season major fashion designers offer GIANT discounts below cost price … Buuut only for special guests. Now, I know a way you can crash this party. The websites that I’m giving you below, do it all year long! Yeah…!! ;-)

HAUTELOOK.COM – they sell brand name clothing, plus those most expensive cosmetics, ALL with discounts of 75%. And if you are a subscriber to certain magazines you get another discount on your first purchase.

GILT.COM – more clothes and brand name bags with discounts of 70%.

RUELALA.COM – 80% off!

BILLIONDOLLARBABES.COM - 80% discount.

BADJOAN.COM - shoes and designer clothes also 80% below normal price.

Jumping on several opportunities, can save us more than waiting for a BIG one to come along. And now that Christmas is just around the corner…

What Your Supermarket Doesn’t Tell You

I do not like to go to the supermarket and I am thankful that Mr.Slipper Socks Man now always does the grocery shopping for me. BRAVE MAN! (and sacrificial)

When I have to go, the only thing that makes me happy, is gettting back home to see the faces of my dogs, who think that their mom is the greatest hunter in the world! Chicken! Pig! Half a cow! Have you ever thought about that? What do they think of us when we get back from the supermarket?

But I learned a few things that aliviate the suffering. They are:

> If you do not like queues, go while everybody’s having dinner. And have you ever noticed that the least busy day is Wednesday?

> If you use coupons, use those that have the bar code, the others take longer…

> Do not feel guilty if you get the milk from the back of the shelf, no one wants  milk with an expired date in the fridge. Everyone does it.

> The more you see, the more you buy. That’s why the corridors are so long and your milk is always at the back of the store.

> Be SUPER ALERT while checking out. MANY times, they do not change the discounted price that you saw when you picked up the product in the corridor! This always happens with us! You could lose lots of time getting transaction right (if you do catch it later). If you don’t watch carefully, you’ll end up paying the full price and not the 50% less you expected to pay.

> Look high on the shelves as well as down low, if you’re searching for a good price. Many smaller manufacturers can not afford to display their wares at the eye-level of the consumer.

> They are marketing your children also, that’s why cereals and things with drawings and rainbows are at their eye level.

> Get smart with the ‘specials’. When people see ads like “8 for $10″, or a “5 item limit” for each consumer, the tendency is to buy more than you need.

> Are you going with your special car? The one you love so much? PARK far away to avoid baskets hitting your car – even the wind moves them against your pocketbook. It’s already happened to me.

> If what you like is the employees’ attitude, go to small supermarkets, where they have invested capital, are part of the profits and it shows in their attitude… And often, the owner is upstairs just watching.

Now Thanksgiving is coming and turkey is everywhere. I hate turkey. If you are in the meat section this season, long enough, you will start getting tired of seeing turkey. It’s turkey ham, turkey bologna, turkey pastrami, turkey this and turkey that… Someone needs to tell your turkey to just be himself!

Something to chew on mentally: many doctors pay their bills with money from people who eat wrong or eat too much.

Be wise about Choices! ;-)
