It seems unnecessary to millions of us that have come from or are in other countries, where public transport is widely, used to speak about the bus. But here it’s different… Not every city has public transportation and some, when they do exist, they do not exist in large numbers, ie: you wait at the bus stop, waiting, and waiting… Or you have to get up very early every day, just to get to work without being late.

I met people in downtown Houston that never had to buy a car, they always used public transport.

Unfortunately public transport does not exist in all cities in Texas and the country, so you the need to check their website.

My friend, anyone who knows me knows, that is…CHOCOLATE.

And if you are one of those 14 people in 10 who likes this ground bean of happiness, today of course, you’re in the right place! I don’t think I would even go to heaven, if it didn’t have chocolate, which I’ve read is a proven natural anti depressant.

This recipe has been my favorite here in America, and it’s all Julia’s fault, who introduced me to TIRAMISU, a combination of coffee and chocolate, creams… well, a sublime experience!

Have you noticed that the word stressed spelled backwards spells desserts?

Coincidence…? I don’t think so…

Even our illustrious Fernando Pessoa said ”no metaphysics exist on earth like chocolate! ”

Here’s the recipe for 16 people, and it’s easy to make!

TIRAMISU

• 1 package of cream chesse at room temperature.
• 3 cups of cold milk
• 2 packages (3.4 oz. each) of JELL-O instant vanilla pudding.
• 1 tub (8 oz.) of COOL WHIP at room temperature (whipped cream). Divide it in half.
• 48 NILLA wafers (or one that you like)
• 1/2 cup of coffee (and mine is always strong) cold. Divide that too.
• 2 squares BAKER’S semi-sweet chocolate, grated.
• 1 cup fresh raspberries (or strawberries).

Beat the cream cheese well with electric mixer. Gradually mixing in the milk and pudding. Mix 2 cups COOL WHIP (and that’s the whipped cream type). Line the bowl with the cookies, splashing them with 1/4 cup of coffee. Cover with half of the pudding mixture and half of the chocolate. Repeat layers starting with the wafers. Cover with the remaining Cool Whip and raspberries (or strawberries). Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Once cooled, do not spoil this sublime experience with feelings of guilt. ENJOY THE MOMENT.

You remember the movie Titanic, when all those women who had to say good-bye to the dessert cart? well…

Me and Chocolate = best friends forever.

If you have them close to you…?

They don’t fish by themselves, they do this in a synchonized dance and afterwards they have a great dinner.

They carry up to 13 liters of food and water in their beaks, that can last them up to a week.

They are quiet, only the babies make noise.

The white pelicans don’t dive like the brown ones do, that also live around here. And everytime I see them do this I feel… high.

Now just look at this boat coming, it passes and they don’t even move!

Nature is the best friend of this here Blogger, I always have a story to tell, because the poetry of the Earth never gets tired, it never dies. Sure I love people, but out there nature is enough for me.

I would value my garden if they decided to visit me. Of course I would have to clean up the mess, but a hose would do… In exchange for this beauty, I think it would be worth the effort.

I think God must get upset and frustrated, when we pass by beautiful things and not even notice.

Most people assume that ‘pleasing God’ is all that he wants, but any fool who lives in this world can see that He is always trying to please us back.

Look at the trees, the birds, the clouds, the stars, the moon… 

And if you have eyes, can really see that the existence of all this is very happy.

Everything is simple and happy.

And the flowers…? They also don’t seem to have a reason… But don’t they seem incredibly happy…?
