What My Doctor Said
Poor guy… I give him so many questions he gets dizzy…
But he said that there are 5 signs that I am more healthy than I think… Just listen to what they are, you’re going to like these…!
Are you ready…?
I was surprised. Seriously.
He said that having a few cups of coffee (not too strong) every day at middle age… (my age), is good. Studies have recently shown that coffee drinkers are less likely to develop any kind of dementia or Alzheimer’s later in life.
Isn’t that good news…?
Remember the recent post “… WONDER WOMAN?”
Whoever hasn’t read it, I strongly suggest you do…
Another interesting thing… Rather it was all very interesting …
He said that while I am expending energy, cleaning my house, whatever it is, sweeping, scrubbing, I’m burning calories and it helps my mood … Hmmm …
I’m not quite sure about that…
Where did he study…?
There’s more… he said, that at my age, we should laugh a lot. Laughter expands the blood vessels and probably lowers the risk of a heart attack.
Another thing that you will like to hear:
Surfing the Internet, is also good! It stimulates activity in the brain and he recommends it.
Always say “Thank you”. Cultivate and have a sense of gratitude. This may be the ‘key’ to the happiness and well being.
No injections or pills! For this I am very grateful.
I went there because of the my pain in the sole (sometimes in the heel) of my foot and I ended up with all these ‘extra’ recommendations… Yes, because my problem was easy to ‘fix’.
You know what…?
Excessive use of flip-flops that have no ‘arch support, I learned, creates a very common problem which is called Plantar Fasciitis (Fascia). I have to do foot stretching whenever I am standing for long periods in the morning and before getting out of bed.
Something called ’fascia’ connects the ankle to the toes becomes inflamed when it lacks support. I used my flip-flops all summer. For those who don’t know… summer is verrry long here in Texas.
I am very happy! Can I continue my walks!
Sad. I need to throw away my flip-flops, my high heels…
But look what I saw today.
