How To Dress For An Interview

Living in America, or not, you will never have a second chance to make a first good impression! It only takes 20 seconds for someone to form an opinion about you.
MEN
A dark blue, gray or olive-colored suit is ideal.
A well pressed white shirt underneath is used here in the USA.
Ties should be of medium size hanging just to the belt buckel, and avoid using a clip-on tie.
Socks should match shoes or pants, which ever is darker.
Shoes should be well polished.
WOMEN
A skirt and jacket suit, well tailored, in colors of navy blue, black, olive or caramel.
Dresses are appropriate, as long as they are not too tight, short or full of ruffles and flowers.
Never use a mini skirt! The length of the skirt or dress should be just above the knee or mid-calf.
Blouses should be solid colors, with no flowers and hosiery skin-colored.
Polished shoes with heels and soles in good condition.
DETAILS OF GENERAL APPEARANCE:
A good haircut or at least, no facial hair. It’s not good idea to try out a new hairstyle just before an interview.
Jewelry should not be a distraction. It’s better not to use multiple rings or earrings full of hanging things. A ring on each hand is suitable and men should not use earrings if they want to preserve a conservative image.
Be sure and have well washed hands and trimmed nails. Women should not use very vibrant enamel colors.
Be careful with perfumes! The interviewer may be sensitive or allergic your cologne or perfume.
In the last part: your questions, body language and important little details that you need to know before your interview.
