Hopelessly in Love
I want to talk about the OSCARS that’s coming up, I can’t stop thinking about the post Chilean earthquake and their suffering following that of the Haitians… But I can’t stop feeling the earth moving, beginning to wake up wherever I go…

Like a veil, this bush falls over the fence, along with the dryness of the rest, it seems to be saying, let’s celebrate!

Can you see the contrast in the background?

The sun shines hot and strong, but the wind is still cold.

The real ‘spring fever’, seems as if it’s got us, and is the right name for what we see and feel, starting now, in this piece of America.

In December these leaves at my neighbor’s house were yellow. I swear. This morning I noticed the they were blooming in red?

We’ve never had such a sever winter in Texas, and now, most certainly, the spring has never been or will be so wonderfully enjoyable.

In this intricate tangle of twigs, they bloom like youth! Ohhh … How I’m in love with these flowers! So strong and tough! They bloomed in the coldest days at the end of this winter, and every day I look, they grow, expand and exhale perfume!

Paperwhites are everywhere! The nights and mornings are still cold, 30 F, and I think, will they survive? Will I see that beauty again tomorrow?
The next day, there they are intact! Where nobody takes care of them, in a vacant lot near my house, and more and more fragrant.
So today, we made our flower bed of Paperwhites. Wish me luck.

As someone wisely said, “even the spring shows what God can do with this dirty planetĀ and blahhh….”

If there were voices instead of colors, I think they would be whistling… a perfect symphony in 4 movements.
I LOVE PAPERWHITES!
