And today, one of my BIGGEST helpers .

It’s cheap, very cheap…

Here in Texas, less than $1 for nearly half a kilo.

Product that was chosen to clean the Statue of Liberty in the past.

And I’m serious. I sware.

You know why it was chosen for such an important job?

Because it’s a good friend of the environment!

bakingsoda

I’m talking about Baking Soda.

On the statue’s centennial (1984-1986) she needed a bath. Study and research was very necessary. Find something to clean the metal, but do not damage the structure.

Look at the difference before and after (inside):

Now, look at everything else that I cleanI without much effort or with almost no effort, with the help of Baking Soda:

1 -At night, put it in the toilet and it works while I sleep. The next day, in 1 second of srubbing with the brush, it is bright and white.

2 – The white counters in my kitchen, I leave a few minutes and then also in moments it is super clean! As if I had used bleach, chlorine or as they say in southern Brazil: QBOA.

3 – Throw it in the washing machine (without measure, depending on the amount of clothes) to brighten white or dingy clothes. If you let it soak, better yet. just white clothes!

4 – Clean the tip of the electric can opener, with a brush soaked in sodium bicarbonate.

5 – When I had carpet, I sprinkled sodium bicarbonate, leaving it a few minutes and then vacuuming up the powder. It cleans and removes the odor of any rug or carpet. Good for accidents with pets.

6 – Grates of the grill.

7 – Stained tea cups and the glass coffee pot.

8  - Walls. But the walls have to be white, otherwise it will take off a little color.

9 – Parts from the top of my stove. Also let it soak overnight. The next day it cleans up real quick!

10 -In a small saucer, put the ‘miracle product’ put in the refrigerator. Any kind of smell disappears.

11 – Cookware burned? No problem, leave them to soak.

12 – Inside the vacuum cleaner to take away the smell.

13 – Under the sink to repel cockroaches and ants.

14 – To thoroughly wash fruits and vegetables.

15 – Once a week to clear drains (plumber’s advice)

You can sprinkle it under your arms as a deodorant talc, put it inside your tennis shoes, throw it in the cat’s litter box, use for insect bites, sun burn, strong smell on the hands, baby’s rash… Anyway… I think the I could write about 3 posts on the subject.

P.S.- And don’t forget to become a Fan of this blog on Facebook.com and Orkut.com, and suggest the same to ALL your friends. Thanks, thanks and thanks! :-)
