Old Times
The present moment is everything. It’s the only way I believe, like the old adage that says, ‘to be happy forever..’. For me, that’s the only way it can be… living day after day after day…
But occasionally, if possible, it’s good to ‘visit the past’, and in this way, be thankful for not having to live all those days of hard work, like the old pioneers.
And that’s what is going to be shown at a festival called “PIONEER DAY” here in Jacksboro, Texas, June 5.
How they did spinning, weaving, quilting, what the work of blacksmithing was like and all those things.
I am very attracted by this, and much more of old times, but don’t know if I would like to live during those times because of the mentality of the era.
I like them so much that I just watched one of my favorite films again: “Pride and Prejudice.” Beautiful!!
So, here is the invitation, if you’re in Texas, or close by.

Or, you can go to the ‘almost sacred’, “FOLK FESTIVAL” in Kerville, Texas – from May 27 to June 13.

It will be full of performances there, more than 100 singers and songwriters and their bands. A true competition, for those who have their own songs, and many workshops.
And you can camp out.
Eighteen days of festivities, where live music never stops, even when the stage closes (midnight) and it keeps on rolling until the sun comes up!
I think that if you go, you’ll be “kerrverted” in Kerrville, TX.

Check out the style.
There are few shortcuts to happiness, you know..?
Singing and dancing are just two of them.
