Thinking…

…I rejuvenate, every time I see the sea…

Each time my eyes see all that immensity of salt, sometimes quiet, sometimes not so quiet… When I feel that air and hear the sound of seagulls and children playing in the sand…

I fall in love again, and start believing in everything all over again.

Whisper

This is a very powerful thing, entirely possible, I learned talking to the ‘little ones’ in my neighborhood the other day …

ponei girl1

ponei boy (I’m crazy about those ponies, I’ll show the other ones later. More to come! ;-) )

So,… if you want your children to listen to you…

Whisper !

Make them lean and simply lean and whisper.

I do this now with adults…  :-)

eu shhs2But it ended up being a great lesson because just think about it, the words you say to your little ones inthe privacy of your home nobody listens to, but in the end, everyone ends up listening clearly, for posterity.

Auctioning

If I don’t find what I want or need on EBAY, (we use this site a lot), I discovered that there are other similar sites which are good alternatives:

OnlineAuction.com - it’s similar to Ebay and has a bit of everything. Ex: a used Blackberry for $5!

Bonazle.com - like a garage sale and “folksy.” Everything shown in booths, you can chat via IM and has discounts for loyal customers.

eCrater.com - has a wide variety of “Buy It Now” products (electronics, sporting goods, home and garden stuff).).

Interestingly, this last site, lets you purchase from multiple vendors with one click only, unlike Ebay.

→ Keep an eye on these auctions late at night . “Pacific time” attracts fewer buyers, since people in the Midwest and East Coast are going to be sleeping.

→ Pay close attention to the small print, the product description, conditions, color, style. Do not rely only on pictures, because often, it is not exactly the product being sold. Read the ‘returns policy’ closely of such sellers. We always look at what others have to say about that vendor specifically so as not to fall into the hands of scam artists.

→ If the “Buy It Now” price or the shipping seems too high to you, email your offer to the sellers. Perhaps he will accept it.

Divine Details

For an unforgettable night, this Valentines Day…

After many years of marriage, sometimes it’s difficult to choose a gift that is not always the same thing, a practical puzzle for many of us.

What about the idea of buying a bottle of wine for that date that means something special to you? Type the year of marriage, the year when your first baby was born or something you remember that was important for both of you.

And after the party, there’s no better way to end the day by snuggling up together and relaxing with a great love story! Perhaps “An Affair To Remember,” “Shakespeare In Love,” “Sabrina.” ♥ ♥ ♥

And with children? How does the day end?

Reading one of those books that have stories of love, whether between friends, relatives or parents and children, or maybe flipping through the wedding album and telling the little ones stories about you and your better half before they were born.

Ahhh… and replace the little night light in their the room or corridor for a nice pink one. Improvise, but without the risking of causing a fire .
