Three ingredient dessert without wrecking your diet.

Blueberry-Almond Turtles

7 Tbsp (2.5 oz) 60% cocoa bittersweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup dried blueberries
1/4 cup sliced almonds

Microwave chocolate in a glass bowl for 60 to 75 seconds or until melted. Stir in blueberries and nuts, then drop 5 rounded tablespoons onto parchment paper. Cool in refrigerator for 2 to 4 minutes or until firm. Makes 5 turtles.

Per turtle: 104 cal, 8 g fat (3.5 g sat), 0 mg sodium, 9 g carbs, 1 g fiber, 2 g protein

Of course you can use your favorite fruit or nuts, and will be equal or better.

These are what we call the ‘lower’ beings that do the toughest, most strenuous, most arduous tasks, (besides the most ingenious efforts to understand their creators, owners or masters). And they prove to be the most loyal to their superiors than any other to be so named.
And do not care about ‘justice’, since there is no injustice in their world.
They live in harmony with themselves, each other and the world.
And last of all, they leave no trace of their actions,
That is why we have no physical record of the existence of many species.

I have a talented,  courageous and gorgeous husband that loves me,…

Of course, wherever you find a great man, you will find a great mother or a great wife standing behind him — or so they used to say.

It would be interesting to know how many great women have had great fathers and husbands behind them.

Yesterday I was thinking…

Something that I have not seen nor will I ever see, is my parents growing old.

I wanted to say this to anyone who is not an orphan:

Before you were born, your old father and your old mother were not as boring and tedious as they are right now.

Do you know why they got that way?

Because when they’re young, they spent time paying your bills, washing and ironing your clothes and everything else that you need it.

Before you go to ‘save the forest’, go to you parents and try to help and understand them.

Now if you are orphan or not, one thing I am absolutely sure of: delirious happiness is very rare.

Today I learned the following:

Law of Theatres and Sports Arena:

At any event, the people whose seats are furthest from the aisle always arrive last. They are the ones who will leave their seats several times to go for food, grab a beer, or go to the bathroom and who leave early before the end of the game or whatever you’re there to watch.
People in the aisle seats come early, never move once, have long gangly legs or big bellies and stay to the bitter end of the performance.

These people are also a very grumpy people.

I wish that the   ” Theatre of Life ” give you a successful week and that your show be continuous.

If this is the case, them I would suggest that you fill your heart with hobbies, small comforts and avoid any involvement. 

Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, dark+ airless, it will change it.

I’m sorry to tell you that: It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable.

Now… if you belong to that ‘special race of humans’, that loves animals and want to avoid those cracks on the way…

PLEASE BEWARE OF THESE PLANTS!!

Marijuana – Animals who attempt to snack on this plant can suffer serious consequences such as diarrhea, vomiting, increased heart rate, drooling, in-coordination, and even possibly seizures and coma.

Sago Palm – While the seeds and nuts of this plant are most poisonous, the entire plant is toxic.  Animals ingesting parts of this plant may suffer from diarrhea, vomiting, depression, seizures and liver failure.

Lilies – Plants of the lily variety are very poisonous to cats.  Even very small amounts of this plant could cause serious kidney damage.

Tulips – The toxic portion of this plant is the actual bulb, which can cause drooling, central nervous system depression, gastrointestinal irritation, cardiac issues and convulsions.

Azalea - The toxins in azalea plants can be very severe and potentially cause drooling, diarrhea, vomiting, central nervous system weakening and depression, and in some cases possibly coma or death.

Oleander – All portions of this plant are poisonous and can cause gastrointestinal irritation, hypothermia, heart problems and possibly death.

Castor Bean – Poisoning as a result of this plant can cause abdominal pain, drooling, diarrhea, vomiting increased thirst, loss of appetite and weakness.  More serious cases could also lead to dehydration, tremors, seizures, twitching muscles, coma and possibly death.

Cyclamen – The most poisonous portion of this plant is located in the root.  Ingestion of the plant can cause severe vomiting and gastrointestinal irritation.  In some cases death has been reported as a result.

Kalanchoe – Ingestion of this plant can cause gastrointestinal irritation and cardiac rhythm and rate problems.

Yew – Poisoning as a result of the yew plant can affect the nervous system and cause in-coordination, trembling and breathing difficulties.  It may also result in gastrointestinal irritation, cardiac failure and could possibly lead to death.

Now that you have understood better yet, ‘why’ I spoke of ‘special breed of humans’, animal lovers, with a heart as big as a cloudless sky!
