I Want to Go to Heaven

Wild flowers are the fairest and nature a better gardener than art.

I decided to buy and with the help of Mr.Slipper Man Socks planted, a more exotic type of flower: the African Gerbera Daysies — SUPER exuberant in color!

I bought 10 pots and today I’ll buy more!

They are not toxic to any animal and even attract butterflies.

After buying, although I heard that they do well indoors. Yeahh …!

To those who do not know… I am not a bit interested in reaching the ‘pearly gates of heaven’ in a shiny sports car, very well dressed, with hair combed and beautiful and perfectly groomed nails.
I want to get there on a muddy tractor, dirty from making cake to give to others, with my face wet with the kisses and licks of my dogs and tears of a friend on my shoulder.

I want God to know that while I was here,  I really LIVED.

Life is short. If you doubt me, ask a butterfly. Their average life is only five to 14 days.

If you want to plant Gerbera Daysies, know that:

♥ They need plenty of sunshine

♥ Can grow to 12-15 inches

♥ They like Loamy or sandy soil

♥ Just only need to be fertilized in the summer

♥ They need a well drained place

♥ Do not require much water, it actually can kill them.

Don’t Forget

I love Texas and Texans. In Texas, everything is BIG.

When the Texans win, they win IMPRESSIVELY. And when they lose, the loss is spectacular.
If you really want to learn the attitude of how to deal with risks, losses and failures, make a visit to the city of San Antonio, TX, and see the “Alamo. ”

The “Alamo” is a wonderful story of brave people who decided to fight, even though there was no hope of succeeding. They chose to die rather than surrender. It is an inspiring story and worthy of study, however, it is still a tragic military defeat.

They had their asses kicked. A ‘failure’ if you will. They lost.

So, how do Texans handle failure?

Well, here in times of difficulty, they say: “Remember the Alamo!”
For this and other things, I like the Texans. They took a big failure as the “Alamo” and turned into a tourist destination that generated lots of money.

They are not the type to bury failures. They are inspired by them. They accept their failures and turn them into rally cries.

‘Failures’ inspire Texans to become winners.

But this formula is not just a formula that works just for Texans. It’s a formula for all WINNERS.

New Profession in America

With the recent increase in urban agriculture, from coast to coast people have equipped their yards with chicken…

Beggeting a distinctly contemporary dilemma:

When I go traveling, who will take care of my chickens?

Sharon and Ronda do this by creating this new ‘line of sitters: feeding and exercising citified cluckers.

And offer the following services:

  • Chicken sitting and problem solving, wing clipping, beak trimming, health advice.
  • Coop set up and maintenance.
  • Custom coops & coops made from recycled materials.
  • Gardening advice, veggie & ornamentals, small container gardening.

And on the subject of cluckers, I say: I did not become a vegetarian for my health, I did it for the health of the chickens.

How come when it’s us, it’s an abortion, and when it’s a chicken, it’s an omelette?
