I made it and loved it SO MUCH!!…!!

I have to recommend it ! :-)
I tosted whole wheat bread, put ricotta on top with a little honey, grapes and IT’S READY !!!

Nothing more nothing less.

Easy, easy, easy. Light and very healthy.

Delish !

This is so easy to make that even I am ashamed to pass it on… So that’s why you should trust me, because I am being frank.

It’s a treat, which can be vegetarian (I’m trying to get there…), or if you live with wolves, it can be served with chicken or beef, or perhaps a sausage steamed and chopped.

Once ready, fill a glass of wine, put you legs up, and for the love of God… live a little! :-)

I’m sorry, the photo was not to my liking, but the food is tasty and nutritious (I used whole wheat pasta, but it doesn’t have to be, the white is also delicious too, I’ve made it).

PASTA WITH SQUASH AND CHICKPEAS

12 ounces pasta (3/4 of a small box)

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 small zucchini cut into half moon (or not)

1 can (15 ounces) chickpeas

2 garlic cloves, minced (or to taste)

1/4 teaspoon dry red pepper

1/2 cup grated cheese (2 ounces)

salt

Cook the pasta according to the package. Separate 1/2 cup of the pasta water, drain and add the pasta to the pot.

Meanwhile, warm the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the zucchini and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Cook turning often until soft (about 4 or 5 min).

Add the chickpeas, garlic and dried red pepper and cook for about 2 or 3 minutes.

Mix the pasta with the water that you set aside and 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese.

Divide pasta in bowls and put the mixture of zucchini and the rest of the grated cheese on top.

Better than buying it at the store

It’s SUPER easy to make !!rissinimelhor1…. In the beginning God created chocolate, He tasted it found that it was good… Behold, He separated the semi bitter and the milk chocolate… and saw that it was even better! :-)

What a gift He has given us with “the most perfect food!” Hum ..?

This is my suggestion for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Children’s Day (in Brazil), Baby showers, any little birthday party or celebration… fitting for all occasions!

People agree that food is something that pleases the crowds and those yummy snacks will make everyone happy on your list this Christmas.

You purchase Grissini or pretzels….grissinicaixa

pretzels.jpf…melt the chocolate of your preference, or various chocolates, to make them different. I always melt it in the microwave. This works for me. I keep checking to make sure it doesn’t burn…

After you dip the pretzels in the chocolate, one by one… and lay them in waxed paper. Let the excess chocolate drip off and immediately put the ’sprinkles’ or the decoration of  of your choice. I put the ’sprinkles’ in separate dishes.rissinicomocobrirDon’t let them touch one another…

Since we first eat with our eyes, you can make them even more delicious, putting them in beautiful containers, baskets, or decorated tins…

You can cover them with the help of a spoon too. You can use thin or fat pretzels. Don’t forget, if you will give them away, they will be eaten within a week… That is if they aren’t eaten before that. ;-) rissinivariadosembaladosThese celophane packages are easy to find in any party supply store such as “Party City.”

Look at the chubby ones with M & Ms…rissinimelhor2If you lay them in a box, you need to put wax paper between the layers.

I like the coconut ones without sugar, I pretend I’m eating a “Prestige” (famous Brazilian chocolate bar)

You can wet just the tip of cookies, and then leave them in the refrigerator for a maximum of 20 minutes.rissinisemicoberta

These Churrascarias are spread out all over the state of Texas and elsewhere.

Now tell me: who doesn’t like our brazilian food…? I have never met anyone who could tell me this! But I did meet someone once who did ‘reviews’ (grades the restaurants and the public) who wanted to do a secret on “Emporio Brasil”, here in Houston, because he wanted to keep ‘that place’ as his ‘own little corner’ and not let it spread around to anyone else. hmmm…
